The Batteau neckline runs from shoulder to shoulder in a gently curving cut. A sleek yet modest neckline, it draws attention to the neck and shoulder area and de-emphasizes the bust. Looks great strapless or with sleeves.

Halter necklines are defined by a strap which runs from the bodice and connects behind the neck. They can be used with a variety of other neckline shapes but are frequently seen with a v-neck for a sexier look. Halter dresses have no sleeves and draw attention to the arms and shoulders of the bride.
