The inspiration for FAIRY GODMOTHER GOWN RENTALS came from Mercina and Jeremy's own wedding experiences.
The wedding dress Mercina ordered never arrived so she had to look for alternatives. While several wedding sources recommended
renting a dress, rental shops proved hard to find. In desperation she found herself making one herself, on limited time and
without much experience. It was certainly not the dress of her dreams but it was the only thing available, given time and
budget.
Wedding dress rental seemed like a good idea. If you're not
going to wear it twice, why buy one and have to store it? Especially if you could rent the same dress for a fraction of the
cost. Tuxedo rental is standard for men, why don't women have that option? But is it really practical? Can a rented wedding
dress be just as nice as one you buy?
Mercina and Jeremy
spent the next year researching exactly that question. They went directly to the manufacturers. Their goal was to get the
best quality, price, and selection. They wanted to have a variety of choices available for every bride.
